Michelley's getting a puppy! ♥

Wednesday 28 August 2013

GUESS WHAT?

MICHELLEY IS FINALLY GETTING A PUPPY!

My puppy is the one on the left. ♥
I am so freaking excited to finally have a doggy hehehe. I've been waiting all my life (kidding not kidding) to have a pet and have been trying to convince my mum since... well forever. She's really scared about our house being dirty and being infested with fleas so until now, dogs were out of the question! (But then my little brother and I convinced her that flea treatments do work. Woo!)

So yeah, this is like a dream come true~ #feelingblessed

Isn't she a cutie patootie? ♥ It looks like she's smiling. ♥
Anyways, after looking around for puppies for quite a while, today we drove all the way to Titirangi to have a look at her! I absolutely love her hehehe. I was ready right then and there to pick her but my mum told us to have a look at another lot of puppies. I reckon she's the cutest and sweetest of that litter, with the exception of her sister who is already sold. Her sister is such a mischeavious looking puppy who is sooo fluffy kekeke. ♥ But my puppy is still the best! #biased

The other puppy. ♥
After we met her, my mum told us not to rush and have a look at another litter somewhere else. We ended up driving all the way to Papatoetoe (which is pretty faraway from Henderson) and saw some adorable baby puppies. These little guys were only 4 weeks old and were absolutely tiny. You could carry them easily with one hand hehehe. But I couldn't forget about the first puppy and kept insisting that we should get her HEHEHE.
Adorable little munchkins. ♥
Look how tiny this baby was. ♥
Sleeping puppy. ♥
Being the subtle person I am, I sneakily convinced everyone. Let's just say I have a way with my words...

"I RECKON THE FIRST ONE WAS THE BEST! SHE WAS SO CUTE AND PLAYFUL!"
"I RECKON WE SHOULD CALL HER OREO OR COOKIE!"
"THE FIRST ONE WAS SOOO CUTE. I LOVE HER ALREADY."
"NAH NAH NAH, DON'T GET THE WHITE ONE - THE BLACK ONE WAS SO MORE UNIQUE!"

Yeah, you see, I'm a subtle person. *Wink*

She looks like a panda hehehe. ♥
But now onto serious matters... We need to name her! We haven't gotten her yet cause we need to get our house ready - we need to set up her cage, her tinkle spot, her food, her toys, etc. But I think we might be getting her in the next few weeks so yeah - we need a name for her!

So if any of you have any cute names for my puppy, please drop a comment down below! She's a black-and-white Bichon x Shih Tzu so we were thinking of calling her Oreo or Cookie. ♥ Well I was anyways... HEHEHE.

Lots of Love,

Michelley ♥

New phone cases! ♥

Thursday 22 August 2013

Guess what came in the mail today?

My phone cases! Yippeee~ ♥

I can't believe they came so quickly! I only ordered them a week ago and a few days later, ta-da! ♥

Oh the wonders of express mail. ♥

I super love these cases but I'm really scared that the pink one will go dirty and gross. Or that I'll drop it and the bumper of my phone will be ruined. *Paranoid*

Anyways, I gotta go now!

Sorry for the extremely short post hehehe. I've got an assignment to start and finish - all by tomorrow! And I have a math test to study for at the same time... Ugh.

I think I might review these cases some other day - when I'm free of course! Hehehe time to do my work!

Lots of Love,

Michelley ♥

White's & Co. Freezery's Frozen Yoghurt Review. ♥

Saturday 17 August 2013

Disclaimer: Before I begin writing this post (and before you begin reading this post), I would like to let you know that I am not paid in any form to blog about these things. All opinions are strictly my own yah-di-yah-di-yah and the reason why I blog about these things is because I want to share with you some of the amazing things New Zealand has to offer. Just letting you know in advance because people keep asking if I'm paid and whether I'm lying about how good things are hehe.

Now time for the actual post!

Tucked away in the walkway! ♥
Last week while I was aimlessly wandering on Facebook, I saw an advertisement for White's & Co. For those who have never been there, have never heard of the place, etc., White's & Co. is a frozen yoghurt shop in the heart of Britomart (in Auckland City).

Instagrammed! ♥
I had seen so many photos of their amazing-looking yoghurt on Instagram (follow me hehe) and everywhere else so I was dying to go. But after a while of saying "Let's go there!" "I wanna go there!", I never really bothered because:

1. I rarely go to Britomart. Well unless I'm train-ing to town.
2. I have no idea where it is.

Little Brother + Mummy ♥
In Britomart~ ♥
Swaggy siblings. ♥
But when I saw that Big Little City was doing a 48 Hour City Deal for it, I knew I had to go hehe. *Starts begging* Especially because it was two-for-one!

I guess you could say, the froyo-holic and bargain-holic in me woke up that day and dragged my mum and little brother to town - just to get some frozen yoghurt which I heard was amazing.

And I heard right! It was amazeballs. Not even kidding.

Look at 'dem toppings. ♥
My little brother and I ordered a large frozen yoghurt each and oh my god, they were large alright! They pulled out these huge paper cups and filled them up extremely generously. It was exactly like those advertisements where the froyo is swirled nice and high with generous amounts of toppings piled on top.

Unbelievable.

Hehehehe yummy yummy. ♥
And because it was buy-one-get-one-free, it was $9.90 for two! Amazing deal right? I would've actually been willing to pay that amount for one considering the size hehe. And my friend told me it was small...

And not only was it absolutely humongous but absolutely delicious too! It was unlike any froyo I've ever had which was surprisingly, a good thing. Usually frozen yoghurt is deliciously artificial and rich in flavour and colour and everything but this one was nice because of how natural it was! It tasted really natural and non-artificial and as if it was made out of real yoghurt hehe. So freaking good. Well mine was anyways... my little brother's one was a little weird-tasting. I guess chocolate and mango don't go well together.

Oh and by the way, I had: coconut froyo + coconut + almonds. ♥ At the moment I'm loving anything coconuty so I knew I was in luck when I saw my favourite on the menu. ♥

Look how cute the place is! ♥
If you double-click, you can zoom in and see the menu! ♥
Being the shameless person I am, I took a thousand photos of my froyo and took heaps of photos of the place hehehe. It's so cute!

Yay for amazing deals! ♥
Oh and I forgot to mention that you had to show the the voucher to get the deal! You could either print out the email they sent you (and kill a tree) or just show them the email on your smartphone like I did! Easy peasy. Here was the email I got hehe. To get it, all you needed to do was claim it off the Big Little City website and bam!

The only thing I wish this place would allow you to do is mix two flavours together! Half-and-half basically. Cause in my opinion, it gets kind of boring just eating the same flavour after a while - especially cause there's a huge tub of it. Next time I go back, I'm going to try their berry flavour! With pink chocolate chips hehehe. ♥

Michelley's Verdict

Taste: 10/10
Service: 10/10
Value: 10/10

Overall: 10/10 ♥

Hehe. ♥
I guess I'm an easy person to please hehe.

Lots of Love,

Michelley ♥

Ice skating at Aotea Square Ice Rink. ♥

Tuesday 13 August 2013

You know what? I should really blog more often. Or at least try to hehehe.

Oh well. Today I'm going to be writing about my weekend which feels like it happened ages ago! (Even though it's only Tuesday...)

Anyways, since I came back from China, my friends (from the trip) and I have been meeting up nearly every week and guess what we did on Saturday?!

Can't wait go next year~ ♥

We wanted to go on the merry-go-round but it was too expensive.
Yes that's right. We went ice skating! (And we went in the Odyssey too.)

And oh my god, at the end of the day, I was so incredibly proud of myself.

The best friend slowly teaching me how to ice skate. ♥ Wo ai ni Stef. ♥
I actually learnt how to ice skate! And I didn't fall over at all! #notsohumblebrag

I think it was cause I always had someone/something to grab onto but never mind that, I didn't fall!

I am a notorious klutz who is super uncoordinated and has no sense of balance or direction.

BUT I DID IT! #stillproud

Here are some photos from the day. ♥ Thanks to Matty for taking the photos. ♥

This is what the ice rink looked like! It was pretty small but oh well~ ♥
Angel being a cutie and using a frame which I needed a lot more than her.
The girlies + Matty who was taking the photo. Ily guys. ♥
Me and my other best friend. ♥
Oh my god, you have no idea how much I love(d) this penguin. This little guy was my life saver - literally. Until one of my friends (I forgot who) passed him to me, I was frantically grabbing onto Stef's arm every few seconds, trying to not fall over as we skated. Actually, more like her dragging me along as I screamed in fear.

The worst part is, I'm not even slightly joking. When we got on the ice for the first time, I was screaming and squealing my head off (like a 5 year old) and all these adults were looking at me, laughing. #ashamed

Me + Penguin Guy + Steffie. ♥
But yeah, after I got my hands on this little penguin guy, I gradually got better and better! At first I was having a little difficulty trying to get started and moving, but as I got better, I was barely even using him! Oh and at one point, I didn't need him at all! But then this little boy rammed in me and I got scared hehe.

I must've looked pretty stupid for using him (a teenager using a penguin to ice skate) but oh my god, I loved him so much. Even when it was break time, I WASN'T LETTING HIM GO. I DIDN'T LET HIM OUT OF MY SIGHT THAT DAY. Well until we left.

Snow pit! ♥
Oh my god, I loved the snow/ice pit. It was hilarious grabbing buckets of snow and throwing rock hard balls of ice at each other. Then we came up with the idea of playing baseball and that was even better! Well until someone hit a middle-aged man hehe. Oops!

Omg think of this like a giant hairdryer HAHAHA.
This cannon was supposed to blowing out foam but one of the pipes fell off so only air came out. Luckily Ainsley, one of the girlies, fixed it hehehe. Yay for foam! ♥

Looks pretty right? ♥
Being so happy. ♥
Me and Lily getting soapy. ♥
There was so much foam on me, it was like I forgot to finish showering! ♥
Embracing the foam. ♥
After we were allowed back on the ice, we skated for a while more before we decided to grab some lunch.

Leely + Angel ♥
The loves of my life. ♥ ♥ ♥
And that was some of my amazing Saturday hehe. Thanks for reading my cuties!

Lots of Love,

Michelley ♥

A hoarder in the changing. ♥

Thursday 8 August 2013

Hello my lovelies!

Sorry for not posting as much as I used to hehe. I've been real busy trying to catch up with all my school work and everything after the trip. It's really hard trying to do so many things at once - juggling personal life, school life and blog life.

*Sigh* And I still haven't finished writing about either one of my trips.

Some of the stuff I threw away! ♥
But anyways, today I'm going to continue on from my post about hoarding. If you haven't already read that post, simply click here!

Well anyways, a few days ago, when my mum and I had time, we went through my entire closet, deciding what to keep, donate and throw. Honestly, I felt really sick when I saw some of my things. Some of the clothes I had bought were brand new and unworn and I was getting rid of them. They were just too small or completely unwearable in terms of style...

Now I have plenty of coat hangers. Before I used to pinch them from everyone.
I can no longer pull off those girly frocks that I used to wear. If I tried, I'd look like I'd been stuffed into a frilly dress that was 1000 sizes too small for me... But at least someone else would actually be wearing them. Better to give it away to someone who needs it rather than stuff in the back of my wardrobe for 10 years.

I threw heaps away! ♥
Anyways, look how much I threw away! I was super proud of myself~ #humblebrag

Everytime I was deciding whether keep something or not, I thought:

1. Will I wear it? Ever? No.
2. Would any of my friends want it? Definitely noott!
3. Can Buh-Bear wear it? Yes!!!

So now Buh-Bear has some new outfits hehehe.

Too sexy. ♥
OOTD. ♥

It used to be pretty.
But seriously, when I couldn't decide whether to keep it or not, I just closed my eyes and threw it away. I can't believe I threw away most of my craft projects. *Sad* I'm kind of glad I did though - they were pretty horrible and completely useless.

Garbage bag full of plastic bags...
OH AND GUESS WHAT MY MUM FOUND. TWO GIANT SACKS OF PLASTIC BAGS STASHED AWAY IN MY CLOSET. WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME. I WAS HOARDING PLASTIC BAGS. I guess it's cause every time I go shopping and buy something, they immediately bag it for you. It's such a shame how I had to throw away most of the bags. Usually I reuse them by using them as rubbish bags for my little wastebasket. Feeling bad cause I'm killing the environment.

I'll find a way to make up for it though! That's all for tonight hehehe~

Lots of Love,

Mimi ♥
