Born Pretty Store Handmade False Eyelashes #218 Review ♥

Sunday 16 June 2013

Hello my lovelies!

How are you all? I haven't written a review in quite a while so that's what I'm going to be doing today! And don't worry, I'll finish blogging about America - soon.

But before I begin, I would like to thank Born Pretty Store for kindly sending me these eyelashes to review. However, please note that all opinions and images expressed and used in this post are purely my own hehehe.

Anyways, today I'm going to be reviewing Born Pretty Store's Handmade False Eyelashes #218. ♥

So without further ado, let's begin!

'Dem lashes.
When I first saw these eyelashes on the Born Pretty Store website, I was in love. To me, these eyelashes looked amazingly cute and girly while having a classy and natural feel to them. Now that I think about it - they actually remind me of Bambi. I guess it's because they give a rather doe-eyed look.

Look how dainty they look! ♥
In my opinion, these eyelashes are absolutely perfect for everyday use because of their subtlety and naturalness. They look extremely natural for false eyelashes and look quite classy unlike some eyelashes which can be extremely tacky looking.

Obviously these eyelashes are not going to be 100% natural looking (no one has lashes that are this perfect) but these falsies give a 'my-lashes-but-better' look hehehe.

These lashes can be used at any time of the day and any day of the week as well any occassion whatsoever. Except pool parties wtf.

Super love. ♥
According to Born Pretty, these eyelashes have been individually handmade which is just absolutely insane. No wonder these lashes are so fab-u-lash. Super love.

See how dainty they are? ♥
Another thing I love about these eyelashes is how they are so soft and flexible - somewhat "fluttery". Sometimes fake eyelashes can feel extremely stiff and plasticy - but not these ones. These eyelashes feel soft and silky and can be easily twisted, helping create a soft curve to fit your eyelid shape.

Looks natural right? ♥
Now to show you the results! Excuse the poor sticking of the eyelash~ I was in the middle of gluing down the lashes when my phone rang and I jumped wtf. I accidentally glued the lashes to my eyebrow and nearly my eyeball. It stung for so long wtf.

Before. ♥
After. ♥ Excuse the poor sticking hehehe.
So if you're like me and don't have wonderfully long eyelashes, you should try wearing these! There's only so much mascara can do on it's own hehehe.
I need one of these ASAP. ♥
At first, applying false eyelashes can be quite difficult as they are slightly fiddly to glue down - especially if your eyelashes get in the way like mine. This is why I would also recommend getting one of these false eyelash applicators to help you until you become an expert! These tools simply clip and hold the eyelash for you, allowing you to easily apply lash glue before sticking them right against your lash line. I definitely need one of these hehehe.

Everyone should have a box of these. ♥
Overall, these eyelashes are absolutely wonderful and I would definitely recommend buying yourself a box. Afterall, these lashes are extremely wearable and can be worn on a daily basis hehehe. Not to mention, they are incredibly inexpensive - only $8.54USD for 5 pairs - and with free shipping worldwide!

Use my code to get 10% off! ♥
And right now, if you use my coupon code - MTAK31, you can receive 10% off any purchase made on their website hehehe. Not only do they sell false eyelashes but other makeup toolsnail art tools and electronic accessories such as iPhone cases. I might buy my parents some cases from there soon. Super love their pastel phone cases.

That's all for now!

Lots of Love,

Mimi ♥
