Lioele Waterdrop Sleeping Pack Review ♥

Friday 28 June 2013

Hello my lovelies!

How are you all? Yesterday I caught a cold and spent the entire day lying in bed so I didn't get the opportunity to write a post sadly. But not to worry, today I will be doing a review on one of my favorite sleeping packs!

Promotional pictures! ♥
The product I will be reviewing in today's post is the Lioele Waterdrop Sleeping Pack. ♥ Just in time for winter too.

Do you ever wake up in the morning with dry skin? Or just have dry skin on a daily basis? I know I do - especially now that it's winter in New Zealand.

Lately I've found that my skin is in need of more moisture than ever, especially after the extra hot showers and facial blow drys. By that I mean pulling out my hairdryer to warm my face up wtf. Sounds really retarded but it gets really cold in my room. I swear it's the coldest part of my house - you can actually feel the temperature difference between the hallway and my room. It's like walking through a portal to Antartica. Kidding not kidding.

Anyways, as I was saying, nowadays my skin is incredibly dry because of the brutal things I do to it. So recently I've begun to use my Lioele Waterdrop Sleeping Pack and have found that it really does help!

So onwards with the review!

Double-click for a clearer view! ♥
One of the reasons why I love this priduct is because of it's special effect.True to its name, the Lioele Waterdrop Sleeping Pack actually forms little water droplets when rubbed into one's skin.

Lioele Waterdrop Sleeping Pack~ ♥
Before I purchased this product, I spent quite a while reading others' reviews of the Lioele Waterdrop Sleeping Pack.

Many said that the product was simply average and that they didn't see any water drops at all - but I love this product and definitely see the droplets. If you don't believe me, just look at the above photo!

Oops. ♥
When you squeeze the Waterdrop Sleeping Pack out of its large tube, the product should be a milky blue gel that is somewhat pale and watery in terms of consistency.

A little goes a long way~ ♥
To apply this sleeping mask, I simply like to squeeze out a large pea-sized blob and rub it directly onto my face. It's simply easy as that. No complicated steps. No need for any pack brushes because of the convenient and hygienic tube hehe.

Rubbin' it in. ♥
When you rub the mask onto your face, you should notice the product almost instantly disappearing. Your face should feel as if it is slightly wet - like after cleansing - and there should still be some "dew" on your skin.

This is only the first phase of the pack.

Disappearing. ♥
Continue rubbing the remaining essence onto your face and you should begin to feel as if your face is getting more wet. Now if you look into the mirror, you should notice tiny beads of water being formed. And when I say tiny, I mean TINY. The droplets are minuscule and are less than 1mm in the size. However, because there is quite a lot of them, your face should look slightly glittery due to the light being reflected off each individual drop.

See the little droplets? ♥
Not sure if it's just me but this reminds me of Edward from Twilight wtf. I secretly love Twilight even though some of the movies are pretty bad.

Super love. ♥
Anyways, moving on. Another reason why I love this mask is because it is neither sticky or oily. This means it is safe to roll around when you sleep and don't have to lie on your back all the time hehe. You don't need to worry about waking up to a disgustingly sticky pillow. Unless you drool.

As for the results, when you wake up in the morning, your skin should feel nice and soft and hydrated. Your face should feel slightly tigther and look refreshed and bright hehe.

To be reviewed... ♥
Oh and I forgot to mention the scent earlier. To me, this pack smells quite nice and refreshing. It smells rather similar to the Lioele Seaweed products which I will be reviewing later...

I purchased this product on eBay for only $14.85USD which to me, seems quite reasonably priced for 120mL of product. However, compared to the prices of other Korean sleeping packs, this mask is actually rather expensive as I've seen some cost less than half the price.

Highly recommended! ♥
Anyways, in conclusion, I super love this pack and would definitely recommend it as there's nothing to dislike about it. It has a super unique effect, the packaging is nice and simple and hygienic, and not to mention, the actual product is pretty good! It isn't oily or sticky and the results are pretty good so what's not to love?

I'd give it a 8.5/10 as it isn't 100% perfect. The results of this mask is pretty good but definitely doesn't compare to the Tony Moly Dual Intensive Sleeping Pack. If you would like to have a look at Jenny's review of the Tony Moly Sleeping Pack, simply click here!

And Jenny, if you're reading this... I linked you. Happy yet? *Wink*

Ta-ta! Take care of yourselves my lovelies and wrap up for the winter!

Lots of Love,

Mimi ♥
